This ranges from young people who think their singer/songwriter heroes are breakthrough philosophers, to the recent fanboydom around Elon Musk.

It also gave us Harvey Weinstein, Ken Lay & Jeffrey Skilling, Elizabeth Holmes, and scores of other people who were the subjects of adulatory crap in the press.
