Record 174 vetoes highlight Arizona’s partisan gridlock under divided government https://www.tucsonsentinel.com/local/report/070425_voting_gridlock/record-174-vetoes-highlight-arizonas-partisan-gridlock-under-divided-government/
In Arizona, a divided state government means elected leaders spend a lot of their time blocking one another’s policy proposals instead of creating bipartisan compromise.

@TucsonSentinel BOTH SIDES!
"Republicans" is fewer letters (if that's a concern) than "elected leaders" and is more accurate.
Funny how "partisan gridlock" is only a problem when the chief executive is a Democrat. If the chief exec were a Republican, you'd be calling it "obstruction."
@TucsonSentinel “RECORD 174 VETOES HIGHLIGHT HOW MUCH FASCIST DRIVEL AZ REPUBLICANS PERSISTENTLY TRY TO FOIST UPON CONSTITUENTS.”
There, fixed that *egregious* bothsidesing headline. Your article itself literally reports that Republicans are *proud* of how much active harm they’re trying to do to Arizonans that Hobbs is shutting down. Maybe the headline could reflect the clear one-way directionality that the contents articulate, instead of gesturing at “both sides bad”?
