Men may not be from Mars, but – compared to women – they do communicate in very different ways. Often for men, showing affection is more about what they do than what they say, and while this may seem like weak substitutes for genuine affection, they’re every bit as meaningful.

@TucsonSentinel "Often" is doing a lot of work in that lede.I would have gone with "occasionally." Even that would be generous.

@TucsonSentinel "I'm Proud of you" and "I love you" are the only two phrases a father needs.
