@TucsonSentinel I never really gave much thought to nurses and other support staff in medicine. Now, at the VA, my primary care is dispensed by a PA. She's attentive and listens to me as I explain my issues. A single MD can supervise 3-4 PAs and things run so much more smoothly. PAs and NPs should be accorded the respect they deserve. RNs, LPNs and other levels of nurses are critical for good healthcare. Regardless of their education, it's their professionalism and caring that matters.
