@TucsonSentinel Really? Without ANY proof of INTENT? You can get convicted on mere WORDS ALONE in Arizona? That's horrific (or an unsophisticated journalistic blunder)!

In that particular case, I think the murder charges would be plenty of trouble for the defendant without the threat of consequences for "snitching".

But this precedent could be big trouble for someone who threatens witnesses to an otherwise less serious crime.
