Although his name is barely known today, Charles Henry Turner was a pioneer in studying bees and should be considered among the great entomologists of the 19th and 20th centuries.

@TucsonSentinel More articles like this are needed and must be taught in school. This isn't only about a #Black man but also about the ability to think critically about the world around us. I'm sure there are many unknown #non-white scientists and intellectuals who can provide a light forward for today's students.
