Democrats have nominated Kamala Harris as their 2024 presidential candidate — even though voters chose someone else in all the party’s primaries - and as it turns out, presidential primaries are something of an electoral illusion.

@TucsonSentinel This attitude that the parties are somehow legitimately democratic is silly. They're private organizations, they can do what they want, pretty much, whether or not what they do is tax exempt is really the only question.
