Arizona HB 2042, also known as the “tamale bill,” would legalize the sale of tamales and other meat products cooked at home, and the proposal could give a break to many aspiring food vendors who struggle with obtaining the necessary permits to operate a food stall or restaurant.

@TucsonSentinel A DC suburb tried this in the 90s. They stopped after people started getting sick from eating all that home-made food. In that case, it was pupusas.

@TucsonSentinel we used to have a "tamale guy" who came to my workplace at the time. They were so good!
