Arizona lawmakers must address a $1.7 billion deficit in the coming months as they craft legislation to patch up the current year’s budget and develop a spending plan for the upcoming fiscal year, after the revenue drop-off from the the flat income tax was much worse than anticipated.

@TucsonSentinel oh please, the drop off in tax revenue was predictable and the Republican solution will no doubt be to slash spending that helps ordinary people
