On Nov. 22, 1963 I was just couple of months in my freshman year at the University of Arizona. I hung out with about 10 or 12 kids at “our” table in the Student Union. I was sipping on a Coke when Janie came in. Janie was upset. She said that Kennedy had been shot. We didn’t believe her. She repeated the story, begged us to believe her and began to cry. Then we realized what she was saying was true.
