Monarch butterfly back in season in Az, but lower numbers spotted tucsonsentinel.com/local/repor
Fall means the monarch butterfly is back in Arizona. As of this week, the Arizona Monarch Collaborative has cataloged 83 monarch sightings since August of this year, compared with 166 sightings this time last year, said coordinator Irene Dickinson, which can be attributed to a number of environmental factors.
