Arizona’s marijuana market trended downward in May, as adult-use, recreational sales dipped to $82.9 million, while medical cannabis sales dropped to just $28.3 million, the lowest since recreational sales began in January 2021.

Maybe with the election of a sane governor in 2022, not as many Arizonans felt the need to get high.

It follows that buying habits remained constant for a while, until the realization that personal inventories were sufficient for the forseeable future, resulting in lower demand at the retail level.
