The Arizona House of Representatives passed a Republican-backed bill along party lines that would allow hand count of ballots, but it will almost assuredly meet with Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs’ veto stamp.

@TucsonSentinel I don't know the detail of the bills, but in general hand-recorded hand-counted ballots are a good defense against a number of vote suppression tactics (like limited voting machines) and raise public confidence in the electoral process.
