Teachers at Tucson's BASIS charter school overwhelmingly vote to form union
By a 2-1 margin, teachers at Tucson's acclaimed BASIS Tucson North school voted to unionize Wednesday evening, making the Northeast Side charter the first in Arizona to have staff organize.

@TucsonSentinel Great outcome! Teachers need to coalesce around their labor at charter schools like BASIS that tend to do well in terms of student performance. This high student performance is down to that labor and it needs to be protected by the laborers themselves. GO teachers!
