A "faith-based advisory committee" that the Tucson Unified School District has under consideration is unnecessary and unconstitutional. The creation of a committee consisting of religious leaders and organizations raises grave First Amendment concerns.

@TucsonSentinel This needs to be shouted from the rooftops so people know what's happening. This is a direct attack on the establishment clause and I, for one, am not standing for it. I first heard about this from FFRF, Freedom From Religion Foundation, a week or so ago. I support FFRF because of madness like this. I hope others will do likewise. ffrf.org/
