Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs called for collaboration between Republicans and Democratic lawmakers during her first state of the state speech Monday as some Republicans turned their backs on her and others walked out of the room to show how they felt about her policy plans.

@TucsonSentinel of course they did. They’re just upset any shitty legislation they pass will get vetoed.

@TucsonSentinel Collaboration/compromise with the GOP over the last 30 is how we ended up here.
The GOP has continuously driven farther & farther to the extreme right wing & the Dems have chased them to the right seeking “compromise”, dragging the party & the country to thee right.
We are standing on the edge of a cliff and can’t afford to keep giving in.
This strategy has failed the party & the country
