You don’t have to be progressive to grasp Nazis and Nazism are bad things and contrary to American principles. It just takes memory or a history class about what side Americans were on. Over 16M Americans fought in WWII, over 400k died and nearly 700k were wounded to defend democracy and America.

This thread by @losowsky@twitter.com was among the more sobering critiques I've seen regarding Post.news. A principal selling point is content moderation. Yet they don't appear to have thought that challenge through or prioritized it twitter.com/losowsky/status/15

So the vaunted “Twitter alternative” #ProjectMushroom is a…commercialized #Mastodon instance with climate content? 🤔

I've just started my term on a user group helping US federal courts improve the PACER system for accessing fillings. Would love to hear from #journalists who use #PACER about how it could serve them better. Tiny tweaks or fundamental changes, I'll pass them all on!

My core takeways about post.news, thus far:

• It was made by tech-bros to milk media properties and advertisers.
• Sold to early adopters by influencers who were secretly investors .
• MSM brands just don’t want to get on Andrea Mitchell’s shit list.
