Listen. I know language is a living thing and that it doesn't *really* matter, not in any *real* way, that so many of you confuse Glen Plaid with houndstooth. It's ok. I can just about live with that. But the constant confusion of flannel with plaid has to stop.
@emilylhauser The real issue is confusing "tartan" with "plaid." (And don't get me started on fake "tweed" that isn't wool, much less Harris.)
@DSmith_Tucson just seeing this now, but YOU ARE NOT WRONG ABOUT TARTAN AND PLAID, wow that drives me nuts too! But at least they're both PATTERNS lol
