@TucsonSentinel The ‘shift’ we need is one that respects women as Human Beings, as Equals and denounces abuse and bullying. Even the casual talk where men are trying to impress other men they veer into the language of abusers. If men liked themselves without trying to outdo the guy next to them, there would be less abuse. Men who need to control others see self control as a weakness. It permeates societies. I blame churches.

yes, i get it, some abusers may benefit from therapy, but therapy only works if the abuser is willing to change
what protections are in place for the abused? because there are no protections for the abused at this point
