Our decrepit home AC died 2 years ago finally. From the 80s. We've both learned a lot about DIY air and furnace repair. And the AC mobsters here have a helluva racket with $20K units that only last 6-10 years.

Got a few window units in the needed areas. But we're gonna have to refine for this 120-degree summer and designate a cool room for us and the critters.

But, hey, maybe I'll just get JrBob's bird-fluvidulosis and not have to worry about paying $1000 to cool a closet.
