As the Trump administration pushes for more deportations, the government has revived a long-abandoned program that lets local and state law enforcement challenge people on the street about immigration status — and possibly arrest them for deportation.

This passport looks fake, we'll have to detain you until it's verified which may take 3-6 months. An attractive woman refuses a cop's demand for "favors." You look suspicious, I'll have detain you until you're more cooperative. An #Asian is stopped and held bc he "looks" #Mexican (happened to my Dad.) Orwell had nothing on #MAGAmoron.
