Arizona Republicans want to ban the use of federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program funds to purchase candy and soda, but critics say their overly-broad proposal would bar low-income families from buying things like flavored water and granola bars.

Matt Gress is an Oklahoma cracker who rode the white pine to get where he is, and he has the fwawking balls to, not only determine candy is a luxury for only those with 'earned' money, but that it requires an incentive to justify to even have.

@TucsonSentinel Granola bars are pure sugar, this is a great step in fighting obesity in the US, it could have been done better in general by simply adding a 10% sugar tax on any product that by volume contains more than x% of sugar
