A federal judge mostly denied Meta's request to dismiss claims by 34 states that it designed social media apps like Facebook and Instagram to make them addictive for minors, resulting in a variety of harms to children, local governments and the public health.

@TucsonSentinel FB and Instagram are no different than major media "news" outlets. They all push clickbait to get people "addicted" to visiting their sites. If FB and Instagram are guilty, then so are Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, the New York Times, Washington Post, and a million other entities.
This whole thing is ridiculous.
