Public records advocates say an Arizona law that allows police departments to charge hourly rates to review body-worn camera footage before releasing it is leading to massive fees for the public and potentially illegal charges.

@TucsonSentinel Tax dollars pay for their salaries, their equipment, including their cameras. The footage is already paid for and charging additional fees is bilking the public. “Yeah, maybe we murdered your kid, but it will be $100K+ for you to find out. “ it’s a scam.
