Mass deportation would be a broad, multipronged effort under Trump’s vision, including invoking an 18th-century law; reshuffling law enforcement at federal agencies; transferring funds within programs in the DHS; and forcing greater enforcement of immigration laws.

It would never happen (unless he really did pull off a coup), but all his people are afraid to make him angry, and go off on more tirades. I say let him rant. Let him threaten, and invoke laws & rules that don't exist or don't mean what he thinks they do.
