A lawsuit filed by LGBTQ+ veterans who were discharged under rules that barred gay Americans from serving in the military cleared its first judicial hurdle when a federal judge denied a motion filed by the U.S. Department of Defense to dismiss the case.

@TucsonSentinel This is a terrible injustice. I consider my VA healthcare benefits a "Prepaid Medical Insurance." People who served honorably in any branch of the service, regardless of LGBTQ+ status, should receive all benefits appertaining to.
