After a six-month pilot program in which only two of the 14 state prisons must reach 100% staffing, the Arizona Department of Corrections will be required to fill the remaining vacancies by a yet-to-be-determined date.

I don’t even know where to begin being an obnoxious asshole about it.

We have 40,000 humans in Arizona who, from the sound of it, are barely considered by my elected leaders beyond their revenue potential, and their physical and mental health is suffering.
