Arizona Republicans would throw out any city or school district bond election if fewer than 60% of voters cast a ballot - even if it passes - giving voters who stay home veto power over the decisions of people who voted in an election.

GOP knows Democrats just love sexy national elections that will solve everything each time.

Local voting is for losers with time.

The guy is shrouding it in appealing dressing to entice voters who might avoid expending such minute effort in off-years. But a 60% limit is bonkers manipulation.
