Arizona Republican legislators are trying again to ban diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at institutions that receive state funds, marking the second attempt in two years to ban DEI programs.

@TucsonSentinel THE REASON WE HAD TO IMPLEMENT DEI IN THE FIRST PLACE WAS TO ADDRESS ALL THE WHITE SUMPREMACY CULTURE THAT WE HAVE BEEN TAUGHT, WHICH DISENFRANCHISES OUR SCHOOLS IN “AT PROMISE” COMMUNITIES. THE FACT THAT THEY WANT TO BAN IT DEMONSTRATES CLEAR EVIDENCE THAT WE NEED IT. JUST ANOTHER WAY TO KEEP PEOPLE IGNORANT OF FACTS AND TO CONTROL AND MAINTAIN THE WHITE SUPREMACY NARRATIVE.

@TucsonSentinel @thepoliticalcat Such a waste of governing effort. Once again. The GOP can't do anything productive.
