I can only hope in my lifetime we can get beyond supporting destructive and non-sensical-for-our-time-and-situation policies, practices, laws etc. because “this was determined in 1700, 1800, 1900 (sorry my Gen!) and its settled policy, practice, law” shit. Preferably before we destroy our only home beyond repair.
