Using “recycled” plastic in construction materials might seem like a pretty good idea, but independent experts tell a much more complicated story, suggesting that most applications involving plastic waste in infrastructure are not ready for prime time.

@TucsonSentinel yeah, I've given up even recycling plastics. The micro plastics aspect is just going to be such a massive problem. Bin it all and hope that later on we can find a way to reuse it.

Oh and just use less of it in the first place.

Until it's all fully biodegradable, plastics are going to be a serious serious problem

That's half of the story. Many or most plastics are EDCs, endocrine disrupting chemicals. The increase the risc for all kind of modern deceases. Take a look at ehn.org or ewg.org or check my link collection: partsperhuman.info/edc_links.h…
