Updated: Voters had until 7 p.m. Tuesday to hand in their ballots in Tucson's primary election. In this year’s contested Democratic races, challengers are seeking to unseat Councilmembers Lane Santa Cruz and Paul Cunningham.

Wow.
A total of 73,373 ballots were mailed out between Wards 1 and 2.

And only 21,537 had been returned at latest counts before tonight. 🙈

Folks, this is easy.

You don't even have to do anything but go to your mailbox twice, and one of your simplest yet most important duties of being a citizen is done.

You can vote in less, or more if you dig it, than you wear on a Zoom call and be legally high as shit and still participate in democracy! 😜
