Ciscomani: Arizonans need copper-mining projects tucsonsentinel.com/opinion/rep
"Arizonans deserve energy independence, lower prices, and security in their futures. Yet federal bureaucrats have forced them to forgo all of the above in favor of relying on America’s adversaries for critical resources that are right in their own backyards."

@TucsonSentinel Arizonans deserve a better representative in Congress.

@TucsonSentinel Pardon me, but I don’t particularly want copper mine tailings in my back yard. Nor do I want airborne contamination in the air above my back yard.

Historically, mining companies have fought hard against environmental concerns that might cut into their profits. Jingoistic dog whistles like the quote in this article are a good example. Sounds an awful lot like Ciscomani using talking points written by mining interests.

@TucsonSentinel Hopefully, Ciscomani will be one and done and we’ll elect Kirsten Engel to represent CD-6 in 2024.
