@danhon @jeffjarvis @TucsonSentinel I'm surprised more people don't use their existing domains. It seems to me that the taxonomy of domains implies you should have a single domain and gather all your resources under it. Managing one of your services by getting a separate domain on an entirely different TLD (e.g org that owns example.com using example.social rather than mastodon.example.com or social.example.com) just doesn't make sense.
